The Cyber TM thulium laser provides an ideal blend of power delivery and tissue effect for highly effective treatment of endometriosis. It delivers power at a wavelength of 2010nm which is well absorbed in both hemoglobin and water. This ensures very low tissue penetration depth for minimal thermal spread and tissue damage, resulting in much lower patient discomfort and improved recovery.
The fiber tip delivers the energy in such a manner to ‘paint’ the surface for an effective, broad treatment area. Furthermore, this broad treatment effect ensures minimal tissue destruction and charring when compared to both excision and CO2 laser treatments. The laser can be used both robotically and via laparoscope.
